The Cantega G2 is the 2nd generation Olympus Soft Imaging Solutions 2k x 2k, bottom-mounted CCD TEM camera for all TEM brands. The scintillator and CCD chip are coupled through a fiber-optic in this high-end, 14-bit TEM camera system. This innovative technology ensures exceptional sensitivity and tremendous signal yield as well as an extraordinary signal-to-noise ratio by cooling down to as much as - 10°C. The Cantega G2 supports multiple frame rates of up to 6 fps @ binning. The partial read-out technology enables focusing directly onscreen, which makes the Cantega G2 the ideal choice in all biomed/life science and materials science applications. The camera offers exposure times ranging from 1ms to 100 seconds, and its outstanding sensitivity can be further increased via the binning modes (2x, 4x and 8x). The specially developed scintillators (YAG, phopsphor) are optimized for application and customer requirements.
