Microscope and image information
The siViewer supports all types of Scanium and iTEM documents, but also the usual image formats, too (tiff, jpeg, bmp, etc.) as well as a vast set of proprietary SEM and TEM image formats. The advantage: The siViewer read out all image parameters and presents them neatly-organized as a part of the image information. This means that image calibration not only ensures that the user is continously informed of the correct size within the image but also provides the user with comprehensive information on the image’s acquisition conditions and parameters.
ViewPort Manager and Navigator
ViewPorts are windows for viewing 1 or more images. They can be used totally independently of each other and offer a wide scope of ergonomic viewing and configuration options. Interpreting image contents is much easier with the multiple view features where various areas of the same image can be viewed at different zoom levels simultaneously. Synchronizing ViewPorts enables users to compare images onscreen. The Navigator ensures that even when viewing large area images at high zoom levels, users always know where they are.
Image Information
All image information - including all parameter during image acquisition or image uploading ( exposure time, binning, etc.), all microscope settings (magnification, etc.) and all data regarding image-format - are saved along with the image.
Automatic scale bar
SiViewer includes an automatic scale bar. The scale bar is automatically adjusted to whatever the current zoom factor is.
Database and reports
The siViewer opens all iTEM and Scandium-generated databases including all accompaying iTEM and Scandium documents such as spectram sheets, diagrams and texts. Numerous query options such as free filter and the query-by example filter are included. The user can arrange user fields for the various views. Also the user can use the siViewer to open iTEM and Scandium-generated reports.
